The Ultimate Guide to Flexo Printing
Plain-English Answers for Label & Flexible Packaging Printers
36 topics · 51 drawings · 5 quick-reference cards · 4 languages
By Aryaman Julka, Sales Director at Alliance Printech and creator of the NOVA Framework. The complete e-book is emailed to you free; the printed book comes in English, Hinglish, Spanish and Russian.
Who it's for
Written for the people who actually run the presses
Most of the flexo books the author found were written for engineers, in difficult English. This one uses plain words, short topics, clear drawings and examples from Indian packaging, with a focus on labels and flexible packaging. It is written to teach, not to sell.
- You run offset, gravure or digital machines and want to move into flexo, or you are planning to buy your first flexo press.
- You are a second-generation flexo printer who knows the machine, but wants to understand the “why” behind it.
- You are a new operator, supervisor or trainee on a flexo press.
- You are a student of printing or packaging technology and want to connect what you learn in class with what happens on a real press.
- You own or manage a flexo plant and want to cut waste and downtime.

What the industry says
Read by the people who taught the author
This book is ideal for anyone who truly wants to understand how flexo printing works. It explains the small details of the process that are so often overlooked. Kudos to Aryaman for creating something the entire flexo industry needs.
This book is the ABC of flexo printing. … As a printer, I learnt what Aryaman has put in these few pages through wastage, endless phone calls and even lost clients. This book is a treasure that will save future printers a great deal of time and money.
Simple language, clear drawings and real shop-floor examples. It is very easy to read, and we truly appreciate the thought behind such an effort for our industry.
Aryaman is that rare combination: a salesperson who understands technology deeply. He helps build the machine, he sells it, and he can run it like a pro.
Even after many years in printing, I found useful reminders in this book.
Aryaman has always gone above and beyond for his customers, and this book is a testament to that commitment.
Writing a book takes discipline; writing one that a whole industry can learn from takes generosity. … This book will guide a new generation of flexo printers.
